When a student makes the decision to enroll in a college or university they are changing the course of their life. It will have an impact on their career, the lifelong friends they make and in some cases the colors they bleed.
With such a major decision to make at a young age, it’s vital that your institution is engaging with potential students throughout the enrollment journey.
The enrollment journey starts with the awareness stage. This is the stage of discovery. Your potential students will become aware of your University by direct mail, blogging, social media interaction, and word of mouth.
Once a potential student is aware of your university they then move to the consideration stage. The consideration stage is where you need to do the most work. Make sure your potential student is getting emails from your University about campus life, athletics, culture, and student aid and affordability.
When working with potential students who are about to make a major life and financial investment your content needs to be as simple and easy to understand as possible.
