Attention Students: This one’s for you!
Our first lady, Michelle Obama, has called us into action for the ‘North Star’ Education Goal. At Converge Consulting we are passionate about Higher Education, and while we work with colleges and universities across the country we always have you as the prospective student in mind. Whether it’s increasing tuition, admissions selectivity, time, or simply just not knowing quite what you want to be when you grow up — college may appear a little out of reach.
We truly believe at Converge that there is a ‘North Star’ of higher education shining on everyone’s horizon — some may be a little closer, some far away, some might have stepping stone path, others a direct flight rocket ship. No matter the path you take, we encourage you to shake your fears and take the first step. It is all about the journey of education leading to a bright, bright future.
“I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life right after high school but I knew college was the first step in figuring that out. I chose Iowa and I’m so glad I did. My friends and I are still diehard Iowa fans and love to stay involved with what’s happening in Iowa City! This picture was taken right after the UI Color Your Campus 5K last month.” –Hayley “I worked as a Marketing Representative for the Division of Student Life during my senior year at Iowa. This experience inspired and shaped my career, ultimately leading to my role as Content Strategist for Converge today.” –Megan “I wanted to stay close to home and was a little nervous if I would even get accepted to college! Well I made it, learning from great professors, joining clubs, and even a student athlete. I am all about the experience of learning and how we relate education to our lives. I’ve been working in Higher Education ever since to spread that message.” –Layne “I went to a different college my first semester of freshmen year but visited my alma mater to see friends and fell in love. The community and experience was such a good fit for me that I ended up transferring and loved my final 3.5 years. I love my college community so much, I actually still live there, just a few blocks off campus.” –Becky
